You’ve probably heard of two-piece and three-piece suits, but what are five-piece suits?
It’s certainly not a term you hear everyday, and that’s because the concept of a five-piece suit is not a universal one.
The most common definition of a five-piece suit centres around the idea of a traditional three-piece suit (that is, a suit jacket, trousers and a waistcoat) as well as a dress shirt and a necktie. This is in line with how a four-piece suit is sometimes (albeit rarely) defined, but featuring a tie as well.
As mentioned, there really isn’t one main definition of a five-piece suit, so it’s worth getting some clarification if you’ve recently come across the term. The above definition does appear to be the most common one, however.
Regardless of what you’re looking for in your five-piece suit, it’s possible to get one custom-made for an affordable price at Mister Singh’s Fashion Gallery. We’ve been custom making top-quality clothing for ladies and gentlemen for decades, and our clothes last.
How will we get your measurements? That’s a simple process – all you have to do is send us a couple pairs of well-fitting garments, which will be promptly returned to you along with your five-piece suit. Alternatively, we can also guide you through measuring said garments yourself through a virtual appointment.
