Men’s suits made by one of Phuket’s original tailors
Most of what we make is for people who are in Phuket for a week or less, so the whole process is built around that. You choose your cloth and get measured on the first visit, come back for one or two fittings, and collect before you fly home. None of it needs to eat into your holiday.
What you get
A suit cut to your measurements, from cloth you have picked yourself, made here in Patong, with fittings so that it actually fits rather than nearly fits. Two-piece or three-piece, single or double-breasted, and the details decided with you: lapel width and shape, vents, pocket style, lining, buttons, working cuffs. If you are not sure what you want, that is completely normal and it is what we are here for.
Choosing cloth
Most visitors want a suit they will wear back home rather than in 33 degrees, so we usually point toward a mid-weight wool that travels well and presses cleanly. If you do want something for the tropics, a linen or a light wool-linen for a beach wedding, just let us know during your consultation and we’ll give you sensible suggestions.
Fittings
Two is ideal. The first checks the shape, the second confirms it. One is often enough when time is tight and the result is still good, but the second fitting is where a suit stops being close and starts being right.
How long it takes
Three to four days with two fittings. Two or three is sometimes possible if your trip is short. Occasionally it takes a little longer, depending on the cloth you choose and when you are free to come back.
Tell us your dates when you first get in touch and we will say honestly what is comfortable. What we will not do is promise a suit overnight and hand you something that only looks finished.
Bringing a suit to copy
If you have a suit that fits you well, bring it. We will copy the fit and tell you honestly what we can match exactly and what we would suggest changing.
Coming to see us
We are at 104/14 Soi Post Office, just off Thaweewong Road in Patong, open every day from 9:30 am to 9:00 pm. If it is easier we will collect you from your hotel anywhere in Phuket at no charge.
