Tuxedos, made to measure
A tuxedo is the one garment where fit is most obvious, because everyone in the room is wearing roughly the same thing. Custom tailoring solves that, and it often costs a good deal less here than the equivalent would at home.
What you decide
Lapel first: shawl for something softer and more classic, peak for something sharper. Single or double-breasted, one button or two, covered buttons, and whether you want a cummerbund or a waistcoat. If you have no view on any of it, we will make sensible suggestions and you can change your mind at the fitting.
If there’s a specific tuxedo that you’ve come across, you can also share the photo with us and we can replicate the design for you.
Fabric
Midnight blue or black, both in wool or wool blends. Midnight blue is the older tradition and photographs better under artificial light, which is where most of these get worn.
Shirts and accessories
We make the shirt to go with it, in the collar and front you want, and we keep bow ties, studs and cufflinks in the shop.
How long it takes
Three to four days with two fittings, and sometimes less if your trip is short. If it is for a specific event, tell us the date at the start and we’ll see what we can do.
Ordering a tuxedo without visiting
If you are not coming to Phuket, we can still make for you. Send us a well-fitting garment to copy, or we will guide you through measuring on a video call. We ship worldwide.
